Welcome CommitteeOne thing that all of our residents have in common is that at one point in time, each of them was new to our community. This committee, made up of our longtime residents, takes pride in taking our newest residents under their wing for the first couple of days, and helps them become acquainted with their new surroundings. 2005 Welcome Committee President, Clyde Stroman, states, "We formed to reflect the kind of hospitality we would like to receive when moving into a new community. Our purpose is to make them feel welcome and help them discover all the services and different opportunities that are offered for us at The Inn on Westport." The Inn on Westport, along with the Welcome Committee, offers the following services for our new residents to take part in if they choose:
