Hello. My name is Donna King and I have been Executive Director at The Inn on Westport for the past nine years. My other past experience includes management within skilled nursing homes, managing and being self-employed in a business which teaches and consults in the long term care industry, research for cardiac disease, mental health nursing and general med/surg nursing.

My educational background includes degrees from Pine Rest School of Nursing, University of SD, and the University of Sioux Falls.

My interests other than work include my book club, walking, biking, traveling, involvement in my church and spending time with my family. My family consists of my husband, four children and their spouses and two grandchildren (so far), and my dog.

I found my love for working with the senior population about 15 years ago when I transitioned from nursing into management. I feel my vocation here at The Inn fulfills my need to contribute to the well-being of those who live here at The Inn on Westport and also the employees; while working in a beautiful and friendly environment. I feel blessed to have found The Goodman Group which is a great company to be affiliated with.
