I was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. I was a nursing assistant for three years prior to becoming a nurse. After graduation I moved to Minnesota and worked as a registered nurse in a small hospital. I have experience in OB, Geriatrics, Medical Surgical, and Coronary Care. I moved to Sioux Falls and worked at Sioux Valley Hospital and then 22 years in Skilled Nursing. I came to The Inn on Westport in 2001.

Assisted Living is quite a change from skilled nursing. I have enjoyed the many residents and their families over the past four years. It is so wonderful to work at a place that I would highly recommend to any family or friends should they need assisted living services. I also feel blessed to be working with such a kind and caring staff.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two sons and daughter-in-laws and our three little grandsons. I love photography, scrap booking, gardening and cooking.
